I cannot say enough good things about Bennett. Soccer wise, his presence on the field speaks for itself. He is a natural shot stopper and possesses a good range for diving saves, but his ability in 1v1 and high xG moments is what separates him from other top caliber GKs. He makes the saves the majority of players can't. He combines this with an unwavering growth mindset and leadership traits that are beyond his years. If Bennett has a ceiling, I surely don't know where it is.

Bennett Ewing is a goalkeeper capable of reaching the highest level. His physical presence enables him to make saves that ordinarily seem improbable and make them seem routine. He plays with courage that is contagious in the team. He plays with a fierce desire to compete at the highest level. His ambition to grow and learn to be the best he can become genuinely separates him from the crowd. Bennett demonstrates fundamental leadership qualities that have helped him grow and, more importantly, helped improve his teammates by fostering confidence and trust in one another.

Connor Coletti: Utah Avalanche 2007 Boys ECNL Head Coach (2022-2023)

I worked with Bennett for several years, and it has been fun to watch and help guide him as he has grown into an exceptional player, person, and leader. One of the things that I admire about Bennett is his attitude. He has grown and developed to where he is very positive and rarely gets down on himself or his teammates. He is a natural leader and has continued to identify and develop these skills so he can gain the trust and support of his teammates. This has at times been a challenge for him, but his continued efforts and focus here have been rewarded. Bennett is a good communicator on the field, and this has helped to build trust and confidence with his teammates. Bennett has good size and athleticism for his position (keeper), and I often gave him time on the field and he always excelled there as well. I think those experiences are quite useful as they usually will help a player understand different positions and the advantages and disadvantages there, and thus, if identified, will help them to know how to both support and defend players in those positions. I have high hopes for Bennett as he moves forward in his soccer career and really do feel that he offers a very nice package as a player and leader that will benefit almost any program.
